Gaia Online Forum
GAIA ONLINE FORUM
I am familiar with the concept of Gaia Online since I took a course in mythology. I remembered that Gaia was actually considered the Earth mother, but that didn't explain what the forum was about.
I did a little bit of internet detective work and I discovered that Gaia Online was one of those free online games that are so popular. I've been known to waste some time now and again by playing online games. After all, they're free, and some of them are pretty cool.
After checking out the basic introduction about Gaia on their homepage, I noticed I didn't have to download anything onto my computer, which was a big plus for me. All I had to do was create an avatar, which looks like a cartoon character. You can choose the hair color, eyes, clothes, and shoes for your Gaia character. This is called your Gaia avatar.
From there, I learned that in order for my character to "make Gaia Gold," I had to either play some online games, visit the Gaia Online site on a regular basis, or make a post in some of the Gaia Online Forums. This part appealed to me.
I'm very big on using forums, and I thought I'd check out what Gaia Online had to offer. To be honest, I didn't think there would really be anything there that would interest me, but I was really surprised to find there was a great community. There was something for just about anyone to check out and enjoy.
One of the things I found was that someone in one of the forums was looking for some Gaia Online Cheats so they could make money. Now, on other sites, something like that would have been pulled by the administrators, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that Gaia Online personnel allowed it to remain posted. Hey, if it spreads the word about finding an easy ways to get gaia gold, it's good for all of us.
I decided to check out some of the other forums, and I found everything from Gaia Online forums talking about "free online rpg games" to "seekadoo" to "banco de gaia." There were forums dedicated to people like Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie, all the way to Albert Einstein. In short, the Gaia Online Forum offered me a lot more choices than I ever imagined.
Before posting to the forum, I decided to just hang out and get a "feel" for what was out there. Some forums tend to have what I consider "cyberbullies," people who are looking to put others down or cause trouble. I was glad to discover none of that was in the Gaia Online community, which showed that it was either being run by a competent community, or it generally just had a better class of people posting, or possibly a combination of both.
I found myself spending quite a bit of time with the Gaia Online Forum community. The postings were actually very interesting to read, and I found that the more that I commented, the more "Gaia Gold" I earned. How easy is that?
When you think about it, that's a very clever way to maintain both a strong customer base and to build a loyal following. The more login time you spend inside Gaia Online, the more you'll find you're being rewarded for your participation.
Participation is what's important with any of these forums, after all. I don't know about you, but I've been to sites that started off strong and within a few months, they gradually faded away to nothing.
From what I've seen with the Gaia Online Forums, though, it definitely seems as if there's a strong following – and if the figures are to be believed, it's only going to grow stronger. Each day, tens of thousands of new members are signing up, so there are more Gaia profile layouts being built everyday.
So what's the bottom line? Simple. If you're looking for a new experience and something that will get you involved at a level you haven’t discovered before, you can't go wrong with the Gaia Online experience. Whether you're going to play some of the free Flash games or post your thoughts on one of the Gaia Online Forums, you'll find something free and fun, which you really can't beat for an online game.
